6 Minute Timer Custom Moves are OFF New DLC Characters are ON Items set to OFF and NONE. Mii fighters using default guest profiles are legal for tournament play. Anyone found using a non-guest Mii will be disqualified. You may only use one set of Mii moves per set only. Switching Mii moves is not allowed. One stage ban per set for each player. Advanced Slob picks. Loser of the first game chooses the stage, winner of the first game then chooses their character, loser of the first game then chooses their character. Sudden death is resolved by % first. The person with the lower % wins. If both %'s are the same, a 1 stock 3 minute match will be played out to settle the tie. The Good Dave's Stupid Rule: You cannot counter-pick any stage you have won on in a set unless agreed upon by the opponent. You may also make a gentleman's agreement to play on any legal stage. Best of 3 for all sets except winners finals, losers finals and grand finals. All finals will be best of 5. All the nights tourneys are double elimination Payout as determined by participants Neutrals: Smashville Battlefield Final Destination Lylat Cruise Town and City Counter-picks: Duck Hunt Dreamland If Final Destination is chosen, you can ask your opponent if they will gentleman's to Omega Guar Plain instead, due to complaints about the background lighting. However, both players must agree. STAGE SELECTION / STRIKING PROCESS: **Game 1** Player 1 chooses to strike 1 stage, then Player 2 chooses to strike 2 stages, Player 1 will choose from the remaining stages which they will go to. Alternatively, players can agree to go to a neutral stage and forego the striking process. **Game 2** The winner of the previous match will ban one stage from the list and the loser will choose from the remaining stages. The winner will pick his character first, then the loser will pick their character. **Game 3 and beyond** If each player has won one game, the winner of game 2 will ban one stage. The loser of game 2 cannot pick this stage or the stage they banned in game 1. A player cannot choose a stage they have already won on unless the opponent agrees to play there. VENUE FEE/STATION RESERVATIONS: If you want to waive the $5 venue fee and help out STLBarWarz please register to reserve a station for your setup. Set-ups must include both a console and a screen. During tournaments STLBarWarz reserves the right to ask you to set your station to a particular game, however you may otherwise play whatever you'd like at your set-up. We may also be preferential to those who bring ASUS or other low-lag monitors vs. monitors which have noticeable lag. If you reserve a station in advance you have until the first tournament starts to get it set up or your space may be used by someone else. For those who bring a set-up without a reservation you will be allowed to set-up on a first come first serve basis until all the spots are filled. We will also waive your venue fee. (Note: If you and a friend come up and one brings a console and the other a screen, only one person can claim that setup. The other must still pay).
